You can set the following status for each egg when editing clutches in AviMan
Unknown
This is the default status for an egg that has just been laid or one that you have no further information about. You should change the status to one of the following when you know more about the egg. You will receive hatch notifications about eggs that still have the unknown status on due date.
Developing
The egg is fertile and developing normally. You will receive notifications for these eggs.
Hatched
Setting the egg status to hatched creates a new bird in your app. You will be presented with an option to specify the actual hatch date and set the birds name.
Broken
The egg cracked or was eaten in the nest. The egg may or may not have been fertile.
Clear
The egg is infertile as determined by candling or other means. You will not receive notifications for these eggs.
Dead in Shell
The egg developed before the chick died inside the shell and development stopped. You will not receive notifications for these eggs.
Thrown Out
The egg was thrown out by the birds. It may or may not have been fertile. You will not receive notifications for these eggs.
